I think so many people need to learn from these kids. My auntie had down syndrome,everybody loved her so much. Aunt Marian was so sweet. I remember when she would write on a piece of paper, it would be all e’s all the way down the paper, she was so spoiled and loving. She passed away at 32 when she choked on a piece of chicken. Her body was brought to my aunts house where she laid in rest all night. The house was packed all night at her viewing. When everyone left I went to the living room and stayed with her for the rest of the night. Doesn’t matter what you need or want. Then you won’t see different, you’ll see the greatest gift!! Any child born with Down syndrome is a precious gift to be loved and cherished. I have a 19-year-old beautiful son with down syndrome/autism And if we could all learn to have the joy for life he does and unconditional love he has for people this world be a better place!!! Everyone commenting here like they are pets. This person is not a pet, this person is a human with a (serious) chromosomal variation that causes myriad health problems. In this country, where health care is not a right and everyone is at the mercy of whether or not they can find a well paying job (after they’ve managed to fight back their crippling debt from getting the education they need FOR that job), it is especially important for parents to have the ability to CHOOSE whether or not they are ready for such an undertaking. They are all little children they have their own little personality people need to accept that there are little angels on Earth with a big heart really no different than other children
