I know apathy isn’t high up on your being a human check list,but come on. I know no one here is responsible for the policies of this country. You dont have to own that responsibility. What you could say is hay I know things haven’t always been fair for you and your ancestors, but what can I do to help make the future brighter for the both of us. Well maybe if the black community asked for help without all the finger pointing at all white people who have nothing to do with it. Maybe it’s hard to understand because one,we’re not faced with it every day and two,we see so much equality for blacks. We see black scientists, black doctors, black sports super stars, black celebrities, a black president and the list goes on and on! I truly don’t think there is one job in America unavailable to a black person today; if he or she tries and works hard like everybody else. I agree willie whitehead, problem is the way the system is designed today you would have to ask the big banks and corporations that question because frankly the system is designed to keep all the people as slaves.
