There are sectors of America where whites cannot go into. A British friend about walked into that neighborhood, didn’t realize America had those sorts of things. The thing about racism from whites, it happens more often and tends to be more deadly in nature just because there are more whites. To say whites don’t experience racism is faulty, however it’s not nearly the extent other races get in America and that’s the difference. Often, whites don’t realize the extent of what they say because they don’t live that life, to them it’s not different than making fun of women, other white men, fat people, someone’s hair, their nose, etc…. Some whites just find humor in being harmful in general. How do you lay the groundwork for what’s acceptable when this type of humor is deemed ok?

I honestly don’t think they know what racism is. It’s socially acceptable in their circles so why would they see anything wrong? Their friends, spouses, people they love don’t see it as wrong. So why should they? Especially when they have that one black friend that they talk to every day at work. Why the hell would they see themselves a racists?? It’s a fact that black people are the N word and all “good” white guys use racist talk? I’d like to thing that that is a very narrow view of the world and hopefully not true
