But in general germany and europe has fewer racist compare to rest of the planet. Just because other countries dont talk about it much(many dont talk about it at all), that does not mean there are less racism there! Ofc, that does not mean there isnt space to improve upon! Never met a TRUE racist in my life..and I’m getting pretty old..now I read about them a lot..but I guess, I just have a very strong opinion about things and they shy away from me? Would anyone who flee their trouble-torn Countries for safety would first care about which Country is racist or not? That’s be the last thing they’d be worried about. I came as student to Germany and now working here. All I saw from this nation was welcoming manner and generosity. Saying that after living 15 years in different countries. I love Germany, fantastic country, love Hamburg esp….but loathe the far right, whether it is the KKK, EDL, Trump supporters, Neo Nazi’s. And often racism is taught in the home and through mob mentality. How many in those US death squads were raised by KKK enthusiasts? They are entrenched in outdated thinking, mentally stuck in the 1950’s.
