The world is not black and white. Taking their pets to the shelter was probably a very hard decision. I never said that. I never once said that family should live in a car. I was separated from my husband when he burned our home down. In a matter of hours I was forced to find home for 3 pets. It’s not as simple or easy as you think under some circumstances.

I did take 1 in and found him a home, while I relocated 2 together as they had been together many years with me. I was lucky, not everyone is maybe they have children and living in a car isn’t the right answer. Maybe they don’t have a car. Maybe they have to live where they do because of proximity to work and can’t just move farther if there was someplace that would take the pets too. Maybe it isn’t our job to judge but to have empathy for their situation and find a home for these 2 adorable pets. While I had my wiermers in boarding at our vets
