I am not hearing impaired but one of my favorite local restaurants has one particular employee that always needs to confirm what I said 3 or more times. Other employees have stepped in for her with no hearing problems. After about the 2nd frustrating time, I changed the plan to deal with her.. But when I do, she gets that order out faster than greased lightning. We all have to work together he does . Set up! this is a common issue for the hearing impaired. And telling someone to “go inside” and not use a drive thru is discrimination right there which means you a part of the problem. All services have to be available to all people. Hence why we have wheelchair ramps and wheelchair accessible bathrooms….or should we just get rid of those and tell them to stay outside?
