it’s funny to me when people compare the MCU (based on comic characters that have been fleshed out for 50+years) to Star Wars Captain america the first avenger endgame shirt (making completely new stories and characters every single time)… the MCU’s job is monumentally easier, 75% of their job is already done
Captain america the first avenger endgame shirt
because its in that order it doesnt make any sense and it doesnt fit the characters. I think its just because of the colors fitting the characters actually so it looks nicer on the front page the only reason why the Guardians didn’t immediately disintegrate was because of Star Lord being the son of Ego, and being part Celestial (I think that’s the name of what Ego is anyway) If the Avengers held the infinity stones, they would be killed immediately, just like that girl in the first Guardians movie who touched the stone. And while Thor could potentially hold a stone, Captain america the first avenger endgame shirt there’s no way he’ll be able to take the power of all six. she’d probably be able to hold the Space Stone, but even then it would still be too much for Thor and Marvel to hold both. But I’m guessing Stark will probably build a gauntlet or something for the stones
Good point but there’s been 40 years of expanded universe Star Wars stories they could have drawn from. And regardless of the underlying source material, MCU did the movies better. To compare apples to apples, look at DC and their movies. In my opinion the cohesiveness of the MCU (movie) storylines are incredible. what a painfully reductionist perspective you have on the flick. It’s not great by any means, but it’s perfectly enjoyable. The people that feel the need to constantly bring up race/gender changes in movies are the people with the REAL agendas. All you need to make great movies is great actors, regardless of race or gender. Check your agenda brotha
yeah, 40 years of horse manure lol. Maybe you do, but I don’t wanna see a clone of Luke, or a clone of Palpatine… or a moon to fall on and crush Chewbacca… want me to keep going?? lol these are the 40 years of great stories you speak of…. I love both franchises to the ends of the earth, but Star Wars films are infinitely deeper in terms of underlying themes. They actually make you think.
