What you are doing is really lovely and the amount of love you have for your mom is really beautiful, and you seem to make enough where she does not need to work. But ask her if shes working because she really enjoys her job? Even if you have so much love for her, let her have so much love for you to continue to do more. I feel that way for my brothers that all I want to do is take care of them all my life, even if one day they will be financially well off. (i dont want anyone to think I am married and have kids cause of my comment above.) It just seems odd that you had to run away because your mom was giving you to much love and is working to hard for you
