Sadly, I don’t think the problem is educational. Many of these people don’t want to know. I come from a majority POC town, so saying that white people don’t get it or have never experienced “systemic” racism is just plain not true.

Apparently I do since you decided to ask that question here instead of to the black people you know in real life or a sociology professor. You knew what you were doing when you decided to ask random people on the internet about something you would have gotten cursed out for asking in person. I’m not passing blame, I’m saying people taking responsibility for their own actions, and choices is probably a good start. Batman bazinga shirt I have missed out on jobs because I’m white, and they have blatantly said “you wouldn’t fit in here”. I’ve been assaulted (my kidneys were bruised it was so bad) while being called a white Bitch and cracker and “white slice chocolate” whatever the hell that is.
I’ve been told that “you’re a white slut who only got the job cause you opened your legs to show pink” like, really? Wasn’t because of the fact she didn’t shower for the interview, nah it was cause I was white that I got it White People have definitly been enslaved for the color of their skin. I once read somewhere (a shame I forgot the source) that over the course of history White slaves were as common as Black ones There have been a lot of White slaves held in Africa. However, this was in a time with poor documentation and definitly not as recent Als I am of opinion that black People in America (of what I have heard from American friends and media, I am not American) are just as racist as whites. But if White People complain about it they are overreacting and a Black personen could win a lawsuit.
