I get your point. Maybe there will be young kids out there who will interpret it the wrong way. But I don’t think Jay Shetty meant that way. That struggle is not fun. Find stability asap is still a good message because life is easier when you’re stable in it, and you can always change your direction after you established a good foundation. Last comment which is only my opinion, life is not all about you. Each individual will have to choose to live life for satisfaction of self (the root of this entitlement attitude) or for doing what’s morally right, contributing to society, leaving a legacy. A queen was born in march happy birthday to me shirt The goal is to find success doing both, but sometimes success means only leaving a legacy. Example: dad’s ditching their children and choosing self satisfaction instead, a common issue in today’s world. It’s still a good message, I just don’t see sophomore high school students being a good audience for it.
Have a good time and get it now

I completely see your point. The thing is no matter how careful someone is about the way they share a particular message, people will interpet it how ever they please. If someone wants to affirm within themselves that such entitlement you talk about is okay, they will do, regardless of how the message it expressed Kids aren’t as dumb as you think they are. This is inspiring for all ages. I went to school with people who wanted to be doctors and those who had no idea where they were going. Some from the first group never finished school, but found their callings later on and they’re happy.
And some from the second group went on to go to college and get degrees in things they never thought they’d go in.This message is simply stating that you shouldn’t compare yourself to others. Don’t beat yourself up if your classmates are set in life and you’re still struggling. Kids won’t take this message as “oh I don’t need to do anything, everything will happen on it’s own without me lifting a finger.” They’re far smarter than you give them credit for, especially these children in the sciences that are finding ways to use ocean currents to help collect trash, kids at age 7 diving and studying marine biology, and a group of children that found a way to recycle styrofoam.
