That scene made me tear up, that should never have been cut. It was raw, and very emotional. I never was a big Paulie fan because of his mean personality, 44 years of rocky balboa 1976 2020 signature shirt but this showed the vulnerability behind this character, and the raw nature of his being. I think this scene would have been a tear jerker along with many others.

Why they cut that scene I don’t know..I have all the Rocky movies..Stallone’s “Rocky” character has inspired all athletes at every level, and many, many more from all walks of life..One of the greatest movie characters of all time! Rocky was always a good guy, helping people and never expecting something back; believe or not I act like Rocky in life, being good, wishing the best for everybody including the people that don’t like me or feel envy for me, 44 years of rocky balboa 1976 2020 signature shirt that probably make me strong and this life and God will give me always great things !! Thanks for your lesson Rocko Why was this not in the movie?! It shows Paulie’s true soft side in what his life was during the saga’s. Also the true companionship and love that Family has and regrets one live’s with in one’s life without ever getting to say to the person how you felt or sorrow you had. Great acting Burt Young & Sly.

Amazing performance by Burt Young and Sly Very heart felt and touching . A shame it wasn’t kept in the movie . That’s one of things I’ve always loved about the Rocky series ( amoung many). The relationship between these 2 characters . Rocky always stood by Paulie .. even when Paulie was being an ass, but when it came down to it Paulie always had Rocky s back in turn . true and tride best friends I have been a huge Rocky fan since the first movie, this scene was one of the best, it showed heart and true emotion, which we have all been through t one time or another. Wished they left it in.
